Turf Industry Mass Management Guidelines Project
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) awarded Turf NSW with a Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative funded project to develop safety guidelines that cover the restraint of the turf products including packaging and mass and load distribution of turf products on various heavy vehicles.
Turf NSW contracted and worked with Engistics to:
(a) Develop Certified Restraint System for Turf products
(b) Develop a Mass Management System for Turf products.

Turf NSW are managing a number of flood recovery projects to support turf producers now and into the future.
Turf Industry Flood Preparation, Recovery and Research Projects
Through the Turf Industry Flood Preparation & Recovery Project, Turf NSW is developing a library of resources for the turf production industry on flood recovery.
Below is a documentary that looks at the impacts and recovery of 9 turf farms across NSW and their experiences during the 2020-2022 floods.
Also there are a variety of topic videos that cover specific areas in the recovery process.
This work is funded by the NSW Government through the Industry Storm & Flood Recovery Program.

NSW Turf Industry Storm & Flood Industry Recovery Program – Recovery & Resilience Grants
The NSW Turf Industry has been awarded three projects to support recovery and resilience of natural disasters. Turf NSW will manage 2 projects.
These projects will be in full swing in 2023 and we look forward to providing updates on the progress and outcomes of each project.
